Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance on various business matters, including but not limited to incorporation process, business contracts, mergers and acquisitions, amalgamations, dissolutions, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Assist in structuring and implementing business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide proactive advice to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records and documentation.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the Bar in Ontario and in good standing.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience practicing business law, preferably in a corporate or commercial law firm setting.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Greet clients in a warm and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff members.
Schedule appointments and meetings.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for the appropriate stuff members.
Provide general administrative support, including preparing documents, correspondence, and reports.
Uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and client matters.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus but not required.
